Welcome to Grandiose Decay.

I don't know which is worse - seeing beautiful old buildings which used to make up part of our industrial legacy, being turned into posh modern apartments or being left to fall into disrepair.

Everything deserves a chance to be remembered and be recognised for what that business or building, small or large, contributed to our workforce and heritage.

I have elected myself to capture a moment in time before it disappears completely.

So, this is kind of a photo journal of various bits and pieces I have stumbled across in and around Leeds. Hoping to gain some interesting shots of places you could only otherwise see by illegal means if you know what I mean. And giving a bit of an insight and history into the background whilst I'm there...
